Create lesson slides with quizzes

The Soạn slide (Write slides) screen has three steps, chosen in the Các bước soạn slide (Slide steps) bar: 1. Thiết lập (Setup: lesson scope, lesson name, quiz allocation, slide look), 2. Slide (Slides: preview the whole deck and edit each slide) and 3. Xuất (Export: quality gates, approval, export files). Slides are 16:9 and come in these kinds: Bìa (Cover), Mục tiêu (Objectives), Sơ đồ nội dung (Content map), Khởi động (Warm-up), Kiến thức (Knowledge), Ví dụ (Example), Luyện tập nhanh (Quick practice, the quiz questions), Đáp án (Answer), Luyện tập ở lớp (Practice in class), Bài tập về nhà (Homework), Bảng tóm tắt (Summary table), Tổng kết (Wrap-up) and Cảm ơn (Thank you). The cover, content map, answer and thank-you slides are built by the app; AI writes the rest.

A deck is made for one topic of the GDPT 2018 framework, from its own scope, learning requirements (YCCĐ) and Tên bài dạy (Lesson name). A deck does not read the content of a lesson plan: if you want both, choose Cả bộ (The full set) to create the two items at once. AI writes a proposal, and you view, edit and approve it.

   Choose Slide or the full set when preparing a lesson

   Open the Soạn bài dạy (Prepare a lesson) dialog with the Soạn bài dạy button on the home screen or in the sidebar, or Soạn bài dạy mới (New lesson) inside a K-12 project. In the Loại (Type) group, choose Slide (slides only) or Cả bộ (giáo án và slide) (The full set: lesson plan and slides). Then choose Môn (Subject), Lớp (Grade), Chương (Chapter), Chủ đề (Topic) and Tên bài dạy as in the lesson plan article; the scope is fixed at creation.

   With Slide, click Tạo (Create): the deck is created on your computer and opens on step 1. Thiết lập. With Cả bộ, click Sinh cả bộ (Generate the full set): the app opens an Ước tính chi phí (Cost estimate) box with each part (lesson plan, slides) and a total; one Chạy (Run) creates both items and starts both jobs, and the screen opens the lesson plan first. Each item carries a Cùng bộ (Same set) chip pointing to the other. If the upper bound of the cost is above the budget left, the app warns you; any part that calls AI after the budget runs out stops.

   Choose a slide template

   For Slide and Cả bộ, the dialog has a line Giao diện slide: (Slide look:) with the name of the template in use (the project's default, otherwise Xanh EduFlow) and an Đổi (Change) button. It opens the Thư viện giao diện (Look library) with three tabs: Mẫu có sẵn (Built-in templates: eight of them, Xanh EduFlow, Giấy kẻ, Biên tập, Vườn nắng, Chuyên nghiệp, Khối màu, Bảng đen, Tối giản), Của tôi (Mine) and Của trường (My school's). Click Chọn (Choose) on the template you want.

   After creation, step 1. Thiết lập has a Giao diện slide card: three suggestions, An toàn (Safe), Nổi bật (Bold) and Bất ngờ (Surprising), picked by subject and grade and drawn on the real cover and objectives of the lesson, each with a Chọn button. Below them are Màu chủ đạo (Main colour: sample swatches, or a code in Màu khác (#RRGGBB) (Other colour)), a Xem thêm (See more) button (opens the library, with Dùng cho deck này (Use for this deck) and Đặt làm mặc định của dự án (Set as the project default)) and a Tự thiết kế (Design your own) button. The main colour must contrast enough with the background (at least 3:1) to be readable on a projector; a colour that falls short is refused with the reason. Changing the look does not call AI. While an AI job is running on the deck, the change buttons are locked.

   Let AI write the slide content

   In step 1. Thiết lập, check Tên bài dạy (sent to AI as the focus), fill in the Header (Trường (School), Tổ (Subject group), Họ và tên giáo viên (Teacher's full name), marked Không gửi cho AI (Not sent to AI)) and, if you like, Ghi chú của giáo viên (Teacher's note, marked Gửi nguyên văn cho AI (Sent to AI word for word)). Then click Sinh slide (Generate slides), or press ⌘ Enter on macOS or Ctrl Enter on Windows. This needs a network; setup, editing and exporting still work offline.

   The app opens the Ước tính chi phí box before it runs; click Chạy to start, or Huỷ (Cancel) and nothing is spent. AI runs two passes in parallel, Soạn phần kiến thức của slide (Write the knowledge part of the slides) and Soạn phần luyện tập của slide (Write the practice part of the slides), and then the app builds and measures the slides. While it runs there is a progress band with a Huỷ button. If a pass is still malformed after two retries, the app names that pass and the Thử lại lượt này (Retry this pass) button re-runs only that one; the other pass is kept. When it finishes, the screen opens step 2. Slide. Sinh lại (Regenerate) creates a new version (also through the estimate box) and the old version stays in the history.

   A deck has roughly 20 to 28 content slides; outside that range the slide gate warns you.

   AI-generated content can contain mistakes. Check and correct the content and the quiz answers before using them in class: AI only writes a proposal and does not do your lesson planning for you.

   Add quizzes in the slides

   The quiz is set before generating, in the Phân bổ câu quiz theo mức (Quiz allocation by level) card of step 1. Thiết lập: four number fields for Nhận biết (Recognition), Thông hiểu (Comprehension), Vận dụng (Application) and Vận dụng cao (High application), or three Đặt nhanh (Quick set) buttons: 6 câu (6 questions), 8 câu and 10 câu. The default is 3, 3, 2, 0 (8 questions). The total must be from 3 to 10 questions; outside that range Sinh slide is locked with the reason shown and the app never trims for you. The line below shows the total and the number of quiz clusters: 3 clusters under 8 questions, 4 clusters from 8.

   The quiz is spread through the lesson in clusters, and each cluster is followed straight away by an Đáp án (Answer) slide that the app builds from the cluster's questions. Each question slide holds at most two questions, and each question has four options and one correct answer. To edit a question, open step 2. Slide and click that Luyện tập nhanh slide: under the slide editor each question has Câu hỏi (Question), four Phương án (Options), Đáp án đúng (Correct answer) and Giải thích (Explanation), then click Lưu câu (Save question). To change an answer slide, edit the question on the cluster's question slide.

   Preview, read the slide gates and approve

   Step 2. Slide has Xem trước deck (Deck preview): a grid of 16:9 slides, each showing its number and kind (for example 5 · Kiến thức). A slide that still overflows its frame after the last measurement has a Tràn khung (Overflowing) label. Click a slide to open Sửa slide n (Edit slide n): a Bố cục (Layout) field (Tự động (Automatic) or a layout for that kind of slide), Tiêu đề (Title), the Nội dung (Content) fields, YCCĐ liên kết, Việc của giáo viên (Teacher's task), Việc của học sinh (Students' task), then Lưu slide (Save slide). The cover, content map and thank-you slides are built by the machine, so change the lesson name or header in the Setup step. The Giao diện: (Look:) chip with its Đổi button opens the look panel right here, and each suggestion carries a Vừa khung (Fits the frame) label or the number of slides that need rebalancing.

   Step 3. Xuất has Xem trước bản xuất (Export preview, every page) and the Bảng cổng (Gate table) for the deck, each row giving Mã (Code), the gate name, Đơn vị đã kiểm (Units checked), Vi phạm (Violations) and Kết quả (Result):

   P1 and P2 read Không áp dụng (kết xuất HTML) (Not applicable, HTML rendering); P10 reads Chờ duyệt (Awaiting approval) until you approve. P8 reports a missing required part, a slide count outside the range, or a quiz cluster in the wrong place; P9 reports a slide that still overflows after three rebalancing rounds, or the note Chưa đo tràn khung của nội dung này; Duyệt sẽ đo lại (Overflow not yet measured for this content; Approve will measure again) when the content has just been edited. Each violation or warning has its own line with an Mở slide n (Open slide n) button that jumps to that slide and, for a warning, its own Xác nhận (Confirm) button; there is no confirm-all.

   Approve and export

   The Duyệt (Approve) button is locked, with the reason shown, while blocking violations (other than P10) or unconfirmed warnings remain. Once it is free, click Duyệt and confirm in the dialog; the app measures the slides again during the approval. At K-12 level, Duyệt is the final step; there is no separate signing step. After that, editing a slide creates a new draft and the approved version stays as it is.

   Click Xuất PDF (Export PDF) or Xuất PPTX (Export PPTX). In the PPTX file, each page is an image of a 16:9 slide with speaker notes: the text in it cannot be edited in PowerPoint. An editable PPTX is on the roadmap and is not available in this version; to change a slide, edit it in the app and export again. Exporting always works, even for slides that are not approved, but the export carries a DÙNG THỬ (TRIAL) watermark in these cases: the version is not approved, blocking violations remain, the key is a trial key, the app could not check this computer's key type, or the deck is a sample. Each reason appears on its own line just above the export buttons. An approved deck with no blocking violations, run on a paid key, exports without the watermark. The Mở thư mục (Open folder) button opens the place where the file was saved.

Slide look suggestions

The Tự thiết kế button (in the Giao diện slide card of the Setup step) opens the look designer: background, motif, fonts, title bar, card style, text density and logo, with Kiểm tra tràn khung (Check overflow) and Lưu vào Của tôi (Save to Mine) buttons. There are two ways to get suggestions from a description typed in the Mô tả giao diện bạn muốn (Describe the look you want) box (3 to 300 characters):

• Gợi ý tại máy (miễn phí) (Suggest on this computer, free): by the colours, school level and character in the sentence, with no AI and no cost. It is always there, even in a project with Tắt AI on and when opened from the Soạn bài dạy dialog.
• Gợi ý 3 kiểu (Suggest 3 looks): uses AI, and is available only in a project with AI on when you open Tự thiết kế from a slide or from the project detail screen. The app opens the Ước tính chi phí box before it runs. Clicking Đóng (Close) while it waits does not stop the suggestion run: the run goes on and the result appears under the description box. A look without enough contrast is dropped; if none is left usable, that run is still charged.

Suggested looks are only loaded into the controls for you to see; Hoàn tác (Undo) returns the design from before.

What slides cannot do yet

• Figures in slides: not available; AI does not draw figures.
• An editable PPTX (text and shapes as separate objects): not available; the PPTX is currently an image of each page.
• Slides that read the content of the lesson plan in the same set to cross-check it: not available; the two items are independent and share only the lesson scope.
• Compiling through LaTeX to PDF: not available; gates P1 and P2 do not apply.
• The subjects that come only with the full package (Ngữ văn, Tiếng Việt, Âm nhạc, Mỹ thuật, Hoạt động trải nghiệm): not available.
