Create a test from a blueprint
Create a test in EduFlow step by step: set the subject and duration, build a four-level matrix, let AI write items, read the quality gates, then approve.

What a test in EduFlow consists of
The Soạn đề kiểm tra (Create a test) screen has three steps, chosen in the Các bước soạn đề (Test steps) bar: 1. Thiết lập (Setup: subject, grade, chapters, time, points and the matrix), 2. Câu hỏi (Questions: read and edit each item) and 3. Xuất (Export: quality gates, approval, export files). A test is a matrix of topics across four cognitive levels: Nhận biết (recognition), Thông hiểu (comprehension), Vận dụng (application) and Vận dụng cao (high application). AI writes items for each cell of the matrix, while you decide the matrix, edit the items and approve the test.
Each multiple-choice item has four options and one correct answer. The form Kết hợp trắc nghiệm và tự luận (Multiple choice plus essay) adds essay tasks with points and a marking guide. The last section lists the item types that are not available yet.
Open the Create a test screen
There are three ways in, and all of them open the Tạo đề kiểm tra (Create a test) dialog:
- On the home screen, click Tạo đề (Create test).
- In the sidebar, click Soạn đề (Write a test).
- Inside a K-12 project, click Soạn đề mới (New test).
In the dialog, choose Dự án mới (New project, and name it in Tên dự án) or Dự án Phổ thông có sẵn (An existing K-12 project), then pick the Môn (Subject) and Lớp (Grade). Click Tạo và mở (Create and open): the test is created on your computer straight away and the screen opens on step 1. Thiết lập.
Setup: subject, grade, chapters, time, points
The top row of step 1. Thiết lập holds Môn (Subject), Lớp (Grade), Loại đề (Test type: 15-minute quiz, 45-minute quiz, mid-term, end-of-term), Thời gian (Time: 15, 45, 60, 90 or 120 minutes) and Hình thức (Form: Trắc nghiệm (Multiple choice) or Kết hợp trắc nghiệm và tự luận (Multiple choice plus essay)). Once a test has items, its subject and grade are locked; to change them, create a new test.
- Chương (Chapters): tick chapters from the GDPT 2018 framework stored on your computer; a Tìm chương (Search chapters) box helps. Ticking a chapter adds its topics to the matrix together with each topic's learning requirements (YCCĐ). The framework is read on your machine, with no network needed. If a subject or grade has no chapters in the framework, the field becomes Tên chương (Chapter name) and you type it by hand.
- Khung đầu đề (Test header): click to open the fields Sở GD&ĐT (Department of Education), Trường (School), Tổ chuyên môn (Subject group), Giáo viên (Teacher), Năm học (School year) and Học kỳ (Term). This information is only printed on the test and is never sent to AI. Trường starts as the unit name of your key; change it if your school differs. Any field left empty prints as a dotted line to fill in by hand.
- Ghi chú cho AI (Note for AI): an extra instruction, sent to AI together with the matrix.
- Tóm tắt (Summary, right column): Tổng câu (Total items), Thang điểm (Score scale, 10 or 100) and the points per multiple-choice item. With the combined form you also get Số bài tự luận (Number of essays), Điểm trắc nghiệm (Multiple-choice points) and Điểm tự luận (Essay points); the two parts must add up to the scale.
Every change is saved automatically within about a second. The number of versions is not chosen here but in step 3. Xuất.
Build the topic by four-level matrix
The Ma trận đề (Test matrix) card is a table of topics against four columns, NB, TH, VD and VDC (recognition, comprehension, application, high application); each cell is a number of items, and the foot of the table shows Tổng câu (Total items) and Tỷ lệ (Ratio). Type a number into each cell, or use one of these:
- Rải nhanh (Quick fill): three template buttons, each of which spreads a total number of items over the topics by NB/TH/VD/VDC ratio: 15 phút (15 minutes: 10 items, 50/30/20/0), 45 phút giữa kỳ (45 minutes, mid-term: 20 items, 40/30/20/10) and Cuối kỳ (End of term: 28 items, 30/40/20/10). The buttons work once the matrix has at least one topic. Quick fill replaces every count already in the matrix, so the app asks you to confirm first.
- Thêm chủ đề tự do (Add a free topic): type a Tên chủ đề tự do (Free topic name) and, if you like, YCCĐ tự nhập (Your own learning requirements, one per line), then click Thêm (Add).
- Nhập CSV (Import CSV) and Xuất CSV (Export CSV): import a matrix from a .csv file with one topic per row and columns separated by semicolons; export to
eduflow-ma-tran.csvto edit it in a spreadsheet.
A matrix holds up to 40 topic rows; a test holds up to 200 items and each topic up to 120 items. While the matrix has no items, Sinh câu hỏi (Generate items) is locked and says why. When the matrix includes application or high-application items, the app also switches on an independent answer check.
Let AI write the items
Click Sinh câu hỏi (Generate items), or press ⌘ Enter on macOS or Ctrl Enter on Windows. This needs a network connection; setup, editing items and exporting files still work offline.
The app does not run anything yet. It opens the Ước tính chi phí (Cost estimate) box: an estimated range (for example 6.200 đến 9.800 ₫), the AI steps that will run and the monthly budget left. Click Chạy (Run) to start, or Huỷ (Cancel) and no job is created and nothing is charged. If the item bank does not match the matrix, the app regenerates it up to 2 more times, and each attempt is charged.
While it runs, a progress band under the steps has a Huỷ button; cancelling leaves the current version untouched. When it finishes, the screen opens step 2. Câu hỏi by itself, with items grouped by topic and level. Each item has a Sửa (Edit) button. Sửa cấu hình (Edit setup) goes back to Setup; Sinh lại (Regenerate) creates a new version (through the same estimate box) and the old one stays in the history.
AI-written content may contain mistakes. Check and correct the answers and figures before using the test in class: the app keeps the test as Đề xuất (Draft proposal) until you approve it.Read the quality gates
Open step 3. Xuất. The result column has a Bảng cổng (Gate table) with eight gates; each row shows Mã (Code), the gate name, Đơn vị đã kiểm (Units checked), Vi phạm (Violations) and Kết quả (Result):
Code What the gate checks P1 Biên dịch ra PDF (Compiles to PDF) P2 Không phải bản rút gọn chữ thuần (Not a plain-text shortcut) P3 Số câu từng ô đúng ma trận (Item count in each cell matches the matrix) P4 Ít nhất 40% câu có hình (At least 40% of items have a figure) P5 Đúng 4 phương án, 1 đáp án; cảnh báo đáp án đã xác nhận (Exactly 4 options, 1 answer; answer warnings confirmed) P10 Đã được giáo viên duyệt (Approved by the teacher) P11 Có neo YCCĐ (Anchored to a learning requirement) P12 Mang mã, phiên bản, checksum kho chuẩn (Carries the framework code, version and checksum) A result is Đạt (Pass), Cảnh báo (Warning), Đã xác nhận (Confirmed), Vi phạm chặn (Blocking violation), Lỗi cổng (Gate error), Không áp dụng (Not applicable), Tắt (Off) or Chờ (Pending); P10 alone reads Chờ duyệt (Awaiting approval) until you approve. In this version P1 and P2 read Không áp dụng (kết xuất HTML) (Not applicable, HTML rendering) and P4 reads Tắt trong bản này (Off in this version), because the app does not compile through LaTeX yet and has no figures in items.
The Đơn vị đã kiểm column shows how many units the gate looked at (items, matrix cells, versions). A gate that checked 0 units is not counted as passed: the app marks it Lỗi cổng and says gate P3, for example, checked no unit, which means the input data has a problem. Below the table, each violation or warning has its own line with an Mở câu (Open item) button that jumps to that item in the Questions step.
Review each item and approve
Answer warnings (for example "the answer needs confirming because it could not be verified", or "because the independent checker changed the answer") must be confirmed one item at a time: each line has its own Xác nhận (Confirm) button, and there is no confirm-all. In step 2. Câu hỏi, the Kiểm từng câu (Review one by one) button walks through the items that need confirming: Enter confirms the selected item, the up and down arrows move between items, E edits and Esc leaves. Editing an item cancels its confirmation.
The Duyệt (Approve) button in step 3. Xuất is locked, with the reason shown, while blocking violations (other than P10) or unconfirmed warnings remain. Once it is free, click Duyệt and confirm in the dialog: the approval evidence is stored in the version. At K-12 level, Duyệt is the final step; there is no separate signing step. After that, editing creates a new draft (the Sửa trên bản nháp mới (Edit on a new draft) button) and the approved version stays as it is.
Exporting always works, even for a test that is not approved, but the export carries a DÙNG THỬ (TRIAL) watermark in these cases: the version is not approved, blocking violations remain, the key is a trial key, the app could not check this computer's key type, or the test is a sample. Each reason appears on its own line just above the export buttons. An approved test with no blocking violations, run on a paid key, exports without the watermark. The next article covers exporting several versions.
What this test cannot do yet
- True/false items, short-answer items and essays with sub-parts (several parts, each with its own points): not available, on the roadmap. The essay tasks that exist have points and a marking guide, and only in the combined form.
- Figures in items: not available. AI does not draw figures and gate P4 is off.
- Compiling through LaTeX to PDF and a LaTeX source editor: not available; gates P1 and P2 do not apply. Formulas written in an item still show in the preview.
- The three levels of Official Letter 7991 (Biết, Hiểu, Vận dụng): not available; the matrix uses four levels.
- AI only writes a draft proposal: you check, edit and approve each item before using it.
